A merry band of "jokers" is busy traveling from city to city and testing computer security systems for the possibility of "hacking", and not always with the permission of the owners of these systems. They are true virtuosos of programming, their ingenuity in how to deceive the defense and steal information, knows no bounds. But things take a serious turn when two government agents start blackmailing them to force them to participate in some covert operations.
Two adventurers, having got to an island lost in the Pacific Ocean, try to find the treasure left here during the Second World War. But it is not so easy to do it. After all, it is guarded not only by the natives, but also by a Japanese soldier, who does not know that the war has long been over...
The action takes place in 1937 in Shanghai. A soldier, who is about to be sent to the front, meets a young girl under a bridge during a raid by Japanese bombers. They agree to meet after the end of the war, knowing nothing about each other. Ten years pass, a woman, a singer performing in a nightclub, takes under her guardianship a young girl who has just arrived in the city from the countryside. The girl falls in love with a man who lives a floor above, who writes songs. Later we learn that the man is the same soldier.
