The Henderson family had no choice but to believe in the existence of Bigfoot after their car struck a huge, shaggy creature on a forest road. The head of the family, George, decides to take the lifeless body to a research center or museum for study. On the way, the “hairy creature” comes to and settles in with the Hendersons under the name Harry. He fills the house with a rather unpleasant odor and “cleans house.” With a single punch, Harry adjusts the doorway to his height; then, after mourning the taxidermied remains of his slain forest brethren, he rips these sacrilegious human toys off the walls. The life of the average American family changes dramatically with Harry’s arrival. They won’t get any peace, but every day brings a new discovery.
