After killing a boar, the young prince Ashitaka brought a deadly curse upon himself. An old shamaness predicted that only he himself could change his fate, and the brave warrior set out on a perilous journey. That is how he found himself in a mysterious land where people, led by the evil Lady Eboshi, were at war with the inhabitants of the forest: spirits, demons, and giant creatures the likes of which Ashitaka had never seen before. And with them was Princess Mononoke—the ruler of the beasts and the daughter of a she-wolf. Now everyone’s fate depends on just one warrior—Prince Ashitaka.

The film depicts the harsh daily life of Mr. Ogata, a low-budget porn producer and, at times, a pimp. Ogata has plenty on his plate: finding equipment, casting performers, dodging the police, the yakuza, and public opinion—all while supporting a half-mad widow and her grown children, who are, to top it all off, quite selfish and greedy. Ogata lives by his own philosophy and sees nothing shameful in his work.

He needs money to flee the country, and just then, his former accomplices offer him a lucrative job—to kill the armored car guards transporting platinum bars worth a billion francs.

However, despite Zane’s “discovery of the century,” his boss, Jordian, fires him, leading Zaminiski to conclude that there is a massive conspiracy to conceal contact with an extraterrestrial civilization. In search of evidence to support his theory, Zane travels to a province in Mexico, where he meets Ilana Green, a specialist in global weather forecasting. Here in Mexico, risking his life, Zane discovers that the aliens feel right at home here on Earth. Of course, they haven’t conquered Earth yet, but when choosing which path to take to solve the problems of life on their own, apparently dying planet—whether through negotiations with Earthlings or by destroying our civilization—the aliens chose the second option...
