Turin is rocked by a series of brutal murders of young women. Similar crimes were committed 17 years ago. Retired detective Moretti, who led the investigation at the time, is asked to assist with the investigation. Together with the son of one of the victims, he begins an investigation that turns into a dramatic game with a brilliant, dangerous, and cruel opponent.

Beautiful and enchanting Kitty is walking with her relatives in Rome. While on the observation deck, she decides to look through a telescope. What she sees through it in one of the windows of the adjoining houses shocks her. A man in a black cloak, black hat, gloves and carrying a knife was killing the girl. After this incident, the construction company went bankrupt, and the unfinished line with bodies buried under the rubble was abandoned. However, some of the people survived, and their descendants have survived to this day in a rather feral state, eating... late subway visitors.
