Moneyball 4K 2011
The year is 2001. After losing a crucial game to the New York Yankees—a team with a significantly larger budget—Billy Beane, general manager of the Oakland Athletics, decides to radically overhaul the team’s player recruitment system. During a business trip to Cleveland, he meets Peter Brand, a young Yale graduate and economist, who, using mathematical calculations, proposes implementing an innovative system for evaluating player value based on their individual statistics.
