1998. Teenager Bucky fancies himself a cinematic genius. Together with his mute friend Vish, he shoots amateur dramas and unsuccessfully sends tapes to festivals. When the boy decides to indulge in the low genre and take part in a local horror film festival, a meteorite falls near his home and very conveniently turns his alcoholic father into a zombie.
