The story of one of the largest and most strategically important naval battles in the Pacific Ocean of World War II. After the defeat of most of the U.S. fleet at Pearl Harbor by Japanese aircraft, the previously neutral America enters the war. In June 1942, the remnants of the American fleet under Admiral Chester Nimitz fought the Imperial Japanese Navy at Midway Atoll.
