The Great Barrier Reef 4K 1999 poster
The Great Barrier Reef in Australia is the world's most famous attraction and stands for records: 2300 kilometers long, it covers an area of 350,000 square kilometers and can be seen from space with the naked eye. The builders of this largest structure are living things, the tiny coral polyps, often no more than 2 millimeters in size. Because of its richness in species, the reef is also considered the jungle of the oceans, with almost 9000 species native to it as identified so far. It also attracts large numbers of small and large visitors, such as turtles, sharks, whales, and manatees.

Probably the most beautiful and wonderful reef in the world: The Great Barrier Reef in Australia is in better quality now. Once again, we experience the underwater world of the largest reef in the world, which is worth protecting, with its hidden caves, mysterious shipwrecks, and fantastic horizontal waterfalls.

The UHD Blu-ray can be played worldwide, but the system requirements are a UHD / 4K-capable television and a UHD player with DTS X.

Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace 4K 1999

Star Wars Episode I The Phantom Menace 4K Blu-ray
For sixteen years the fans of the first three Star Wars episodes had to wait until director George Lucas finally got again his hand on the series in 1999 continued with this prequel. Words like nostalgia, warmth or character are a dime a dozen when it comes to the movies like this one.
Such prospects naturally do not leave a busy filmmaker like George Lucas alone, and so he embarked on the project of moving the six parts of his Star Wars saga into the new dimension and bringing them to the cinema again – starting by Star Wars: Episode 1 — The Phantom Menace.
Suffice it to say that Episode 1 is about young Anakin Skywalker (later Darth Vader - one of the most menacing movie villains). Jedi Knight Qui-Gon Jinn discovered this accidentally when he had to make an emergency landing on an abandoned desert planet during a mission with his student Obi-Wan Kenobi. The possible dangers of discovering Anakin Skywalker are only hinted at in this episode. His real change only begins gradually in Episode 2 - Attack of the Clones. Star Wars Episode 1 is often called too cheerful, too colorful and too family-friendly. In some cases there is something to be said about these claims.
This movie starring Liam Neeson, Ewan McGregor, and Natalie Portman is a must for Star Wars fans, for completeness alone. Nevertheless, the film is technically and visually not a hit. It is the only Star Wars film that is released for ages 6 and up and you can tell. Unfortunately.
Enjoy now without waiting in 4K Blu-ray and Dolby Atmos!

The Lost World: Jurassic Park 4K 1997 poster
It was to become the attraction of human history. With Jurassic Park, Dr. John Hammond (Richard Attenborough) fulfilled a lifelong dream that quickly came to an end. It should take four years before everyone is talking about Jurassic Park again, but this time the focus is not on the park known as Appendix A on Isla Nublar, but on a forgotten Appendix B on Isla Sorna, which was once known as Research and breeding facilities... One should think that one had learned from the mistakes. But dinosaurs survived on the neighboring island of Isla Sorna... Now they live there completely free, have recaptured nature.

Unfortunately, with an estimated production budget of $ 72 million, Spielberg was unable to build on the great success of the first part. Still, the box office of some $ 600 million made everybody enthusiastic and there were also some prizes.

An adventure film from 1997 with Julianne Moore, Jeff Goldblum, and Pete Postlethwaite and the first sequel to the dino hit – now also on 4k Blu-ray & DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1!

Starship Troopers 4K 1997

Starship Troopers 4K 1997 poster
Like Roland Emmerich and Wolfgang Petersen, the Dutchman Paul Verhoeven is made for Hollywood. He knows no fear of contact with complex production methods and garish comic book entertainment. Robocop (1987), Total Recall (1990) and Starship Troopers (1997) are among the best that science fiction cinema produced during this phase. Fanboy dreams, great special effects, innovative stories and brilliantly staged action mixed with dark visions of the future that denounce the mercilessness of capitalist principles with barely concealed sarcasm and, in beautiful chronology, outline a social development, at the end of which the loss of Democracy stands. Here we go...

The 25th century. Democracy has been abolished and people live in an authoritarian world federation in which only those civil rights who commit to military service are granted. This is not the only reason why Rico (Casper van Dien), Diz (Dina Meyer), Carmen (Denise Richards) and Carl (Neil Patrick Harris) are drawn to the armed forces. She also lures adventure or simply the desire to stay close to her sweethearts.

In Paul Verhoeven's action-packed war satire Starship Troopers, four teenagers are drawn to the war against beetle aliens. But the supposed adventure becomes a bloody nightmare – now enjoy on 4k Blu-ray and Dolby Atmos!

It's hard to believe that Starship Troopers with its criticism of propaganda and totalitarianism was misunderstood by the US reviewers at the time. They let themselves be lured into the trap by the show values of the Riefenstahl look – basically like the young soldiers who storm their own doom with a great hurray.

The aliens are among us. Since we don't know when. And it is up to the Men in Black to ensure that people do not notice their presence. Agent Will Smith and Agent Tommy Lee Jones are the best of these men in black.

Police officer James Darrell Edwards III. is astonished when he is dropped on foot by a strange guy during persecution and later looks into his lizard-like pupils. However, he is even more amazed when, a government agent in black, takes him to a nearby jewelry store and reveals to him that aliens have been wandering around the earth since the 1950s. The gold seller is one of them and illegally markets alien weapons. James absorbs new knowledge. Just to have forgotten it shortly afterward. Does this strange lightning thing have anything to do with the fact that ""K"" applied?

Men in Black is a 1997 satire by Barry Sonnenfeld with Tommy Lee Jones, Will Smith, and Linda Fiorentino. And even if the story itself is thin, Men in Black ends up finding a few more intense moments in Agent K's revelation about his past – not least thanks to a 4k Blu-ray and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 version.

Mission: Impossible 4K 1996

Mission: Impossible 4K 1996 poster
In Mission: Impossible, the secret organization IMF finds that it has a mole in its ranks. Only Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) can unmask a traitor.

Jim Phelbs, head of the CIA's IMF (Impossible Missions Force), is commissioned to be there with his team when a traitor from the agency's ranks steals the so-called NOC list. This contains the aliases of all CIA agents working undercover in Eastern Europe. As the traitor wants to hand over the list to his buyer, both are arrested. But the elaborate plan to monitor and secure the list goes wrong ...

However, what the first part has in advance of the successors is the inimitable structure of suspense and tension. The logistical planning and (failed) implementation in Prague is already captivating but is even surpassed by the break-in into the Langley vault. The scene that has become a legend by now, in which Cruise penetrates from above into the room monitored by lasers, can hardly be missed in nail-biting fever.

Mission: Impossible is an agent film from 1996 by Brian De Palma with Tom Cruise, Jon Voight, and Emmanuelle Béart now on 4k Blu-ray and Dolby Atmos!
