Dr. Strange, with the help of Wong, rescues a teenage girl named America Chavez from a giant octopus who, when startled, can open portals to parallel universes. In an attempt to protect his new acquaintance from an evil force that wants her ability, the Doctor and America embark on a journey through the multiverse.
