A wild girl with petty criminal tendencies named Perdita Durango meets macho Romeo Dolorosa, a shaman, robber and drug dealer, on the U.S.-Mexican border. After spending a stormy night, the couple decides that somehow boring they live, and so they need to kidnap two gringos (preferably blondes), sacrifice them and then eat them. In addition, at the request of his brother, Romeo undertakes to deliver to Las Vegas an illegal cargo for a pharmaceutical company - a van with human embryos.

A group of scientists finds an unusual vessel while exploring an abandoned church.
