Ray, a former British Army soldier who fought against the IRA, has long lived as a recluse in a small house in the woods. One day, his devout brother Jem, whom he hasn't seen in 20 years, comes to visit him. Together, they reminisce about the past and old traumas, but Jem has come to see his brother for a reason.
