Dirigible commander Jack Braden and Navy pilot 'Frisky' Pierce fight over the glory associated with a successful expedition to the South Pole and the love of beautiful Helen, Frisky's wife. After Braden's dirigible expedition fails, Frisky tries an expedition by plane. Unfortunately he crashes and strands his party at the South Pole. Braden must decide between a risky rescue attempt by dirigible and remaining safely at home with Helen.

The film tells the story of organized crime's tight control over Chicago during the Prohibition era. The main character is Tony Carmonte, an ambitious criminal who knows no pity. Tony is on his way to his goal: he intends to become the crime boss of the city.

A man with no name helps a nun avoid deadly dangers while crossing the Mexican desert. Along the way, the heroes join the rebels, and they mature a plan to jointly capture a French fort. The rebels are fighting for freedom, while our hero pursues only one goal: gold.
