
After the end of World War II, two former draftees Bob Wallace and Phil Davis combine their talents to become the best singing dance duo in America. Concerts follow one after another, the guys become more and more popular, and the touring schedule is packed for days on end.
One day they meet a female duo of sisters, Betty and Judy, and this acquaintance leads the young people to the idea of forming a quartet and performing a concert on Christmas Eve in support of a ski vacation home run by their former commanding officer, retired General Waverly.
