Gladiator 4K 2000
The screenplay was inspired through the ancient history collection 'Historia Augusta', which reports on the life of the Roman emperors. It also included the story of Commodus, who was strangled by a gladiator named Narcissus. This is the piece of Hollywood legacy that film makers would point to as an example of how well they were doing their jobs.
In 2000 Ridley Scott (Alien) remarkably revived this genre: monumental film. Awe-inspiring, truthful and epic, these are just 3 words that describe this epochal and highly emotional touch you are likely to perceive when watching. Everything sits just perfectly right here. This classic hit the cinemas with a proud budget of $ 103,000,000. Watch it now on 4K Blu-ray and DTS: X at home, grab'em all and you'll be covered!
Toy Story 2 4K 1999
Fortunately, it doesn't always work that way. A positive exception is sure Toy Story 2, a computer animation released in 1999 by Ash Brannon and John Lasseter starring Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and Joan Cusack.
Woody's only hope now is that Buzz Lightyear and the other toys will rescue him from the evil toy collector through a breakneck rescue operation. And that's just a build-up followed by a great story with lots of new and funny ideas, that would likely put the prequel in the shade. The animations are also great. This film has an even better impact now through 4K Blu ray and Dolby Atmos.
The Great Barrier Reef 4K 1999

The Mummy 4K 1999
The mummy is an adventure film from 1999 by Stephen Sommers starring Brendan Fraser as Rick O’Connell and Rachel Weisz as archaeologist Evelyn Carnahan.
When different factors come together happily, even a director like Stephen Sommers can set a lucky punch. This happened as he hit the nerve of the audience eager to be entertained with the action-adventure The Mummy that is a free remake of the Boris Karloff's classic of the same name. The film became a box office hit worldwide. Now on 4K Blu ray and Dolby Atmos quality!
Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace 4K 1999
For sixteen years the fans of the first three Star Wars episodes had to wait until director George Lucas finally got again his hand on the series in 1999 continued with this prequel. Words like nostalgia, warmth or character are a dime a dozen when it comes to the movies like this one.
Such prospects naturally do not leave a busy filmmaker like George Lucas alone, and so he embarked on the project of moving the six parts of his Star Wars saga into the new dimension and bringing them to the cinema again – starting by Star Wars: Episode 1 — The Phantom Menace.
Suffice it to say that Episode 1 is about young Anakin Skywalker (later Darth Vader - one of the most menacing movie villains). Jedi Knight Qui-Gon Jinn discovered this accidentally when he had to make an emergency landing on an abandoned desert planet during a mission with his student Obi-Wan Kenobi. The possible dangers of discovering Anakin Skywalker are only hinted at in this episode. His real change only begins gradually in Episode 2 - Attack of the Clones. Star Wars Episode 1 is often called too cheerful, too colorful and too family-friendly. In some cases there is something to be said about these claims.
This movie starring Liam Neeson, Ewan McGregor, and Natalie Portman is a must for Star Wars fans, for completeness alone. Nevertheless, the film is technically and visually not a hit. It is the only Star Wars film that is released for ages 6 and up and you can tell. Unfortunately.
Enjoy now without waiting in 4K Blu-ray and Dolby Atmos!
Creation of the Gods I: Kingdom of Storms 4K 2023
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire 4K 2024
The Lost World: Jurassic Park 4K 1997
Unfortunately, with an estimated production budget of $ 72 million, Spielberg was unable to build on the great success of the first part. Still, the box office of some $ 600 million made everybody enthusiastic and there were also some prizes.
An adventure film from 1997 with Julianne Moore, Jeff Goldblum, and Pete Postlethwaite and the first sequel to the dino hit – now also on 4k Blu-ray & DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1!
