The Kane sisters the sophisticated Candy and the simple-hearted Sugar are performing their not-so-successful act at a backwater bar in Wyoming, but they dream of Broadway. Thanks to a mix-up involving a family heirloom, they end up in New York, where a British aristocrat, a private investigator, an eccentric director, and a dizzying path to fame await them. Starring: Suzy Mandel, Dory Devon, Eric Edwards, Wade Nichols, Jamie Gillis; runtime -84 minutes, rated X. The film is conceived as a parodic tribute to the golden age of MGM musicals, and critics at Time Out compared it to *Gentlemen Prefer Blondes*.
