Anker is being released on parole after serving 15 years in prison for robbery, and he urgently needs to retrieve the money he stole in that heist. Before his arrest, he asked his brother Manfred to bury the stolen money at a prearranged spot in the woods near their mother’s house. But over the years, Manfred’s mental illness has worsened; he now asks to be called John and doesn’t remember where the loot is hidden. Together, the brothers set out to find the money.
