Raccoon City is controlled by the powerful Umbrella Corporation. After a bacteriological catastrophe, the inhabitants are slowly turning into zombies, and the few citizens whose minds are not yet completely corroded by the horrible virus live out their last days in an atmosphere of fear and with a desire to die as soon as possible.

Veronica Henley, a renowned writer, activist, and fighter for black women's rights, finds herself in a horrifying reality.
