As is often the case in life, it all started with an innocent desire to make some money. A young law student named Martin took a job as a night watchman at a hospital. He was absolutely certain he’d found an “easy” job where no one would distract him or interfere with his studies. But Martin was terribly mistaken... It so happened that the bodies of young women—brutally murdered by a bloodthirsty serial killer on the loose in the city—were being brought to the hospital’s morgue. Very strange things began to happen in the morgue. The living enter the silent world of the dead, and things get truly terrifying. After all, the dead can no longer defend themselves...

A wealthy man died suddenly. He was no longer young, but he was energetic and full of life; however, his relatives welcomed his death with joy, as he had been a rather selfish and mean man. All his relatives gathered for his funeral, including his daughter—the only one who loved him with all her heart. To take over our world, the sorcerer Shang Tsung organizes the Mortal Kombat fighting tournament, where the best of the best compete. Here, fighters battle to the death, and the sorcerer takes the souls of the losers. The decisive battle for the fate of Earth features Liu Kang, a Chinese warrior whose brother was killed by Shang Tsung in the previous tournament; action star Johnny Cage; and investigator Sonya Blade, who is pursuing the criminal Kano, who murdered her partner.

A young woman with a troubled past takes a job as a housekeeper in an upscale Manhattan home. On her very first night, she is attacked by the homeowners, who are wearing robes and pig masks, but she turns out to be more than she seems.

A couple with their young daughter is driving home at night when their car breaks down. While a local resident helps with the repairs, his brother, Vahid, recognizes the man—whose face he has never seen—by the creak of the family man’s prosthetic leg as the man who had tortured him in prison. Vahid kidnaps the villain and is about to bury him alive, but at the last moment, he begins to wonder if he has made a mistake. To confirm the captive’s identity, the man sets out to find other former prisoners of the regime.
