One day, radio astronomer Zane Zaminski heard a signal from space. However, despite Zane’s “discovery of the century,” his boss, Jordian, fires him, leading Zaminiski to conclude that there is a massive conspiracy to conceal contact with an extraterrestrial civilization. In search of evidence to support his theory, Zane travels to a province in Mexico, where he meets Ilana Green, a specialist in global weather forecasting. Here in Mexico, risking his life, Zane discovers that the aliens feel right at home here on Earth. Of course, they haven’t conquered Earth yet, but when choosing which path to take to solve the problems of life on their own, apparently dying planet—whether through negotiations with Earthlings or by destroying our civilization—the aliens chose the second option...

To take over our world, the sorcerer Shang Tsung organizes the Mortal Kombat fighting tournament, where the best of the best compete. Here, fighters battle to the death, and the sorcerer takes the souls of the losers. The decisive battle for the fate of Earth features Liu Kang, a Chinese warrior whose brother was killed by Shang Tsung in the previous tournament; action star Johnny Cage; and investigator Sonya Blade, who is pursuing the criminal Kano, who murdered her partner.

A young woman with a troubled past takes a job as a housekeeper in an upscale Manhattan home. On her very first night, she is attacked by the homeowners, who are wearing robes and pig masks, but she turns out to be more than she seems.

A couple with their young daughter is driving home at night when their car breaks down. While a local resident helps with the repairs, his brother, Vahid, recognizes the man—whose face he has never seen—by the creak of the family man’s prosthetic leg as the man who had tortured him in prison. Vahid kidnaps the villain and is about to bury him alive, but at the last moment, he begins to wonder if he has made a mistake. To confirm the captive’s identity, the man sets out to find other former prisoners of the regime.

The villain immediately recognizes in Alfred a strong, experienced, and unpredictable rival—in short, the best partner for racing at terrifying speeds. To force Alfred to play by his rules, Cougar kidnaps the hero’s younger sister, challenging Tang to face him at a prestigious championship in Japan. The brave Alfred accepts the challenge and sets out to rescue his sister.
