To earn his little sister money for surgery, a 20-year-old takes a desperate step.

A simple working guy from Brooklyn works hard all week from morning till night like a cursed man, lives like a madman, and all for the sake of going to his favorite disco with his favorite girl on Saturday and dancing there until he faints. Dancing, forgetting about any rituals and rules.

Detroit, 1995. The "8 Mile" highway, which separates Detroit from the suburbs, becomes the dividing line between blacks and whites. What is happening in the city is reflected in the music. In poor suburban neighborhoods, where the main goal is survival, hip-hop becomes an emotional outlet for many residents, a means of escape from the harsh daily reality.

The movie is about two male dreamers who have sexual orgies in Paris in between when they have money. At other times they are looking for something to eat.

1930s. Fiery red-haired orphan Annie is forced to live in a horrible orphanage run by the overbearing Agatha Hannigan. One day her seemingly hopeless situation changes dramatically when she gets the opportunity to spend some time at the mansion of wealthy military industrialist Oliver Warbux. Annie instantly charms all the inhabitants of the estate and even the seemingly thick-skinned Daddy Warbucks can't help but fall in love with such a wonderful little girl. Warbucks decides to find Annie's parents and offers a reward if they are found and show proof that they are not frauds. Ms. Hannigan, her evil brother Rooster and an accomplice plan to pose as Annie's parents and collect the reward.

1950s. A small town in Texas. Dwayne Jackson and Sonny Crawford are the stars of the local high school soccer team. Dwayne is aggressive and Sonny is quiet and sensitive. They are best friends.

In the town lives a mentally retarded boy Billy, he is cruelly bullied and teased by the regulars of the local movie theater. Sonny stands up for Billy and becomes his protector. And then - a friend and lover of Ruth Popper, suffering from loneliness wife of the school basketball coach. Sonny and Dwayne go to Mexico for a short time, where they have a raucous party, but when they return, they receive sad news.

A university graduate, unable to find a job in his specialty, accepts a position as a teacher at a school for troubled teenagers. Working at the school and sending out his resume in parallel, he eventually receives an invitation to the position of an engineer. But he does not leave immediately, but decides to bring the class to the end of the school year.

Robert Lee Pruitt is transferred to another unit after an accident. An able boxer, he refuses to enter the ring, because during a training fight he injured his friend, as a result of which he became blind.
However, for the army brass, sport is a good career tool, and Private Pruitt's refusal to enter the ring is seen as something very close to treason. It is this refusal that makes Pruitt a subversive element in the eyes of his superiors, especially Captain Homs. Among the many very colorful representatives of the garrison stand out, Private Angelo Maggio, who finds himself in a military prison, famous for its intransigence to troublemakers.
Sgt. Milton Warden, on the contrary, hating officers as an institution and as a sum of specific individuals, resists in his own way - impeccable knowledge of his duties and high professionalism, making him simply irreplaceable in the company. However, his revenge on his superiors takes quite concrete forms - he has an affair with his company commander's wife Karen Homs, who feels nothing but contempt for her husband.
However, neither Milton nor Karen have any illusions about the longevity of their affair, which nevertheless threatens to outgrow the framework of an ordinary affair and turn into a great, all-consuming love....
Only a few days pass and the seventh of December 1941 comes, when the Japanese Air Force launches a massive strike on the American military base Pearl Harbor in Hawaii and on the fate of the heroes of this movie.
