Spike Fumo is an Italian teenager who dreams of becoming a boxer. He falls in love with a wealthy girl who turns out to be the daughter of a mob boss. Gangsters threaten Spike and demand that he leave Bensonhurst, so he heads to a poor Puerto Rican neighborhood in Brooklyn.
Daniel Kellner, a former employee of a secret government organization, is on the run from his former employers along with his girlfriend. He has stolen some classified documents and believes their contents should be made public.
