A certain Massoulier is shot dead in unexplained circumstances during a hunting trip. Suspicion falls on another hunter - a Parisian realtor Julien Versel, especially since the rare type of shot in his cartridges matches the shot found in the victim's body, and Versel's wife turns out to be the mistress of the murdered man.

She, too, is soon caught up in a mysterious death - and again Versel is deprived of an alibi. It seems that he is cornered, but then comes to the aid of his secretary Barbara, who launches her own investigation....

Sean and a group of fellow hunters catch animals in the African savannahs on orders from the world's zoos. Working with wild animals is associated with high risk, so when a reporter who has arrived from Europe begins to persuade Sean to take her on safari with him, she receives a categorical refusal. In the end, it turns out that the young man became a pawn in the game of corrupt local authorities, and the dispatcher, who allegedly burned in the flames, is alive and well.
