The first to encounter them was the son of the owner of the small toy store, who took the side of the Gargonites. The troopers, at first not touching "civilians" soon switched to quite non-toy fighting against humans as well. A boy, a neighborhood girl, and then their parents had to join the fight. They were joined by the grief-stricken developers, who realized too late what misfortunes they had done. Even the peaceful Gargonites, programmed to hide, couldn't stand it and took up arms.
