In the fourth installment of the adventures of the green ogre "Shrek Forever After", Shrek faces a midlife crisis. He no longer scares the villagers and his life has become predictable and quiet. Wanting to recapture the days when he was a true ogre, Shrek makes a pact with the devious Rumpelstiltskin. However, things don't go according to plan, and Shrek finds himself in an alternate reality where he has never met Fiona and where Rumpelstiltskin rules the kingdom. Now Shrek must find a way to reclaim his real life and prove that true strength lies in love and friendship.

Sequels are often a safe bet, at least in terms of box office earnings. Once the audience has been won over to a new film idea, it is only right and cheap for the studios to hold onto it and bring it back to the people in a variety of forms. Especially in the animation genre, there are mostly lovelessly produced sequels that can not keep up with the previous films and even suffer from a complete lack of originality.

This anime will enjoy not only kids, but also more adult audience, because the cartoon even has the appearance of a naked female body.
