1967, Newark, New Jersey. Little Tony Soprano admires his father's business partner Richard Moltisanti, nicknamed Dickie. The latter responsibly conducts the part of business entrusted to him by his father, a local criminal authority, and, unlike other mobsters, does not shy away from dealing with black people. When riots erupt in the city, provoked by police brutality against a black cab driver, Dickie commits an impulsive act and uses the surrounding chaos as a cover.
