Action, drama and the kind humor typical of Gibson – everything fits together perfectly. Historically correct or not – it doesn't really matter. Even if it doesn't, the entertainment factor of the film want suffer this. The story is thrilling and exciting, Gibson, and Jason Isaacs play their heroes and villains convincingly and understandably so that the work takes on almost epic proportions. All in all great epic with a dash of patriotism and in the end a little too lengthy, but still one of Emmerich's best films. Enjoy now on 4K Blu-ray and Dolby Atmos!
