By 2050, global economic upheaval has wiped out Cape Town’s middle class, leaving the city divided between the ultra-rich and the destitute. Ronald and his homeless friends uncover a plot by the local government to “eradicate” the homeless population using a sinister chemical known as “V.”
An elderly man, barely breathing after being bitten by a strange plant, is brought to the hospital. While the doctors were trying to figure out what had happened, a worm crawled out of the already dead man and began to grow at an alarming rate. Meanwhile, the authorities declared the hospital a contaminated zone and ordered the military to place it under quarantine. Everyone in the hospital found themselves cut off from the world and locked in with the worm, which had already transformed into a huge, bloodthirsty insect. Police officer Jim Bishop, doctor Rachel Carson, and scientist Elliott Jacobs will face off against the monster.
After responding to an emergency call at a hotel, a police inspector found no evidence of a crime but noticed some strange goings-on. An avalanche prevented him from leaving that same day, and soon the inspector discovered the body of a murdered guest. Suspicion falls on everyone staying at the hotel.

American pilot Lieutenant Tak Pendleton takes part in an experiment in which he is shrunk to a very small size and, in a submarine-like craft, explores the inside of a rabbit. But techno-terrorists ruin all plans and steal the syringe containing the miniature Tak. By mistake, the contents of the syringe end up in the body of hypochondriac Jack Patter. When Arlene has a vision of a coming UFO, everyone deals with it in their own way.

The monster grows, and with it grows the threat to both Japan and all of humanity.
