Kara Zor-El is traveling across the galaxy with her dog, Krypto. She is attacked by a pirate and a bandit, who steal her ship and injure Krypto. Joining forces with her new friend and ally, Ruti—whose family was previously killed by the pirate—Kara sets out to seek revenge.

The Empire has fallen, but its military leaders still control parts of the galaxy. The fledgling New Republic is trying to defend the ideals for which the rebels fought, and has enlisted Mandalorian Din Jarin, a renowned bounty hunter, and his young apprentice Grogu for the mission.
Tetsuro, a boy from a small town, finds himself in the heart of an ultra-modern city, where the “Megapolis” planetary station is located. The Galactic Express 999 departs from this station, and Tetsuro tries to board it. He steals a ticket, and a police force of mechanical people tries to catch him. Unexpectedly, Tetsuro is rescued by the mysterious Meitel, with whom he will travel on the express. The boy wants to take revenge on the robots—specifically Count Mecca—for the death of his mother, who was killed during a manhunt.
Daniel Kellner, a former employee of a secret government organization, is on the run from his former employers along with his girlfriend. He has stolen some classified documents and believes their contents should be made public. Meanwhile, Margaret Fairchild, an ordinary weather anchor at a Kansas TV station, suddenly begins speaking several languages, makes strange clicking sounds on live TV, and loses consciousness. The doctors find nothing unusual wrong with her, and after escaping from the hospital, Margaret suddenly realizes that she needs to find Kellner.
