The third installment of the infamous “Fact or Fiction?” film series focuses primarily on serial killers and includes lengthy reenactments of police investigations into the discovery of bodies in dumpsters, as well as a staged courtroom scene.

A group of “green” extremists breaks into the Cambridge Primate Research Center and releases a monkey infected with a virus that causes uncontrollable aggression from a secret scientific laboratory. The deadly virus, transmitted through blood in a matter of seconds, leads to instant infection and, upon contact with any living creature, transforms it into a bloodthirsty monster. Twenty-eight days later, the entire United Kingdom is gripped by a terrifying epidemic: many are evacuated, while others seek safe havens in the hope of survival. After waking up in a hospital and missing the peak of the epidemic and the mass evacuation, a young man named Jim wanders through a deserted London, trying to figure out what happened. Soon he encounters the infected, who attack him, but two survivors come to his aid.

It turns out that the cause of the yachts’ terrifying disappearances isn’t the infamous Bermuda Triangle, but… real pirates! The Caribbean has always been a famous “pirate stronghold,” but it was simply impossible to imagine that somewhere in the boundless expanse of the sea there lived a community of pirates who had no idea that it was the twentieth century! For some reason, decay had spared Catherine’s body—which had been buried two years earlier—but, as befits a true zombie, she was overcome by irresistible cannibalistic urges. Helen, the living-dead girl’s childhood friend, stumbled upon her by chance and decided to act as a supplier of “food” for the starving Catherine.

Boston police detective Judd Austin is investigating a series of horrific murders. An unknown maniac, clad in a helmet and black leather, decapitates all of his victims and throws their heads into a nearby body of water. During the investigation, it emerges that all the murdered women were students in Professor Millet’s evening classes—a renowned expert in anthropology. This fact, along with the method of the killings, leads the detective to suspect the professor and his assistant of committing these brutal crimes.
