The clever and beautiful Lucy MacLean from Shelter No. 33 was planning to marry a guy from No. 32, but instead, their home is attacked by raiders who kidnap her father. A Chinese chef accidentally gets involved with a news reporter who filmed a drug bust that went awry, and is now being chased by gangs who are trying to get the video tape.

A Hong Kong police officer named Jackie (played by Jackie Chan) is assigned a seemingly simple mission by the CIA and the KGB: to track down an international spy named Natasha, who has purchased a plane ticket to Ukraine. Jackie’s only task is to record her contact information. However, once there, things quickly spiral out of control the woman slips away, and Jackie finds himself caught up in a massive international conspiracy.
The protagonist sets off in pursuit, a chase that takes him to snow-covered Russia and sunny Australia. It turns out that Natasha’s accomplice is a former CIA agent named Tsui, who was recruited by KGB Colonel Yegorov (linked to the Russian mafia).
