The Peterson family recently lost their son Caleb in the war in Afghanistan and are still mourning him. Suddenly, a guy named David appears on their doorstep claiming to be their son's army comrade and has arrived, thus fulfilling his last will. Caleb's family is happy to receive David, but soon after the guest appears in the house, a series of deaths occur in the neighborhood.
