In an abandoned house, a couple of kids find a strange book called "Restless Halloween" by R. L. Stein. The friends quickly realize why the book has been hidden away from everyone when the small town is overrun with monsters of varying degrees of horror.

Evil invariably returns. It can be temporarily destroyed, shot, burned, but it will still inevitably rise. Michael Myers is not done with his business in Haddonfield, and soon he will return to his hometown to kill again.
