A story about an experienced swindler who falls in love with a girl who is making her first steps in the field of illegally taking money from citizens. The relationship becomes a problem for them when it is discovered that romance interferes with their dishonest business.

Adam, a young screenwriter, lives in London in a new high-rise building where the other tenants have not yet moved in. His only neighbor is Harry, a socially thirsty boy. One day Adam goes to the suburb where he spent his childhood and meets his young parents, who died in a car accident more than 30 years ago.

Emma, a medical student, gets a job as a night watchman at the Institute of Forensic Medicine. It was there that psychopathic serial killer Commissioner Wurmer tried to kill her parents 30 years ago. Since then they have been haunted by the memory of that night, and Emma has also inherited her parents' trauma. The girl decides to find out what really happened then.
