"Das Cabinet des Dr. Caligari" (The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari) is a cult silent film in the expressionist horror genre, created by director Robert Wiene in 1920. The movie tells the story of strange events unfolding in a mysterious town where mysterious murders occur. The action develops around the mysterious Dr. Caligari, a representative of the circus, and his dubious somnambulistic assistant Cesare.
