The Pornographers 4K 1966
The film depicts the harsh daily life of Mr. Ogata, a low-budget porn producer and, at times, a pimp. Ogata has plenty on his plate: finding equipment, casting performers, dodging the police, the yakuza, and public opinion—all while supporting a half-mad widow and her grown children, who are, to top it all off, quite selfish and greedy. Ogata lives by his own philosophy and sees nothing shameful in his work.
