Reporter Blair Maynard begs his editor to send him to the waters off Florida, where ships have been mysteriously disappearing. But who would have thought that a routine journalistic investigation would lead to the most sensational discovery of the century?! It turns out that the cause of the yachts’ terrifying disappearances isn’t the infamous Bermuda Triangle, but… real pirates! The Caribbean has always been a famous “pirate stronghold,” but it was simply impossible to imagine that somewhere in the boundless expanse of the sea there lived a community of pirates who had no idea that it was the twentieth century!
