On a gloomy winter evening, a Volvo winds its way down a snowy forest road. Kim, George and their young son Miles decide to take a break in nature from the hustle and bustle of the big city. They do not suspect that in a couple of minutes a shocking incident will happen to them, which will start a series of eerie events, making their lives a fragile toy in the claws of an inexplicable, mystical evil. The naive townspeople have invaded the abode of supernatural forces, the domain of a mysterious creature, which the locals call by the ominous name of "Wendigo", praying that they will never see it...
