Amanda, a young nurse, arrives at the Lloyd family's old estate to spend the evening with their son while the parents visit. Soon after the couple leaves home, a series of frightening events occur that bring Amanda to the brink of a nervous breakdown. But the real horror begins when the boy's biological father, who has escaped from a mental institution, appears near the estate.
