On Friday evening, four people in a high-rise apartment building decided to use the elevator, unaware that the maintenance crew that had just left had left a screwdriver in the elevator shaft. The elevator moved, the screwdriver fell and shorted out the electrical wiring. Four people were left hanging at the twentieth floor level. After no one responded to the emergency button, the three men and one woman were left to fend for themselves.
