After a heavy downpour, mysterious flowers bloom all over San Francisco. Biologist Elizabeth Driscoll brings one home and soon notices that her buddy Jeffrey is acting strangely. Elizabeth turns to friend Matthew Bannell for advice and is surprised to learn that she's not the only one with this problem. It seems that a lot of people in town are starting to do things that are out of character.
